ZOA
Human Stories in Forgotten Crises
ZOA’s exhibition sheds light on forgotten crises around the globe, placing the resilient human spirit at its core. Whereas the term ‘forgotten crises’ tends to focus on definitions and statistics, these photos from ZOA projects invites the viewer to confront the human side of crises. ZOA provides relief to people affected by violent conflicts and natural disasters in fragile contexts and is, therefore, present in numerous crises labelled ‘forgotten’ or ‘neglected’ such as Tigray, Sudan and Nigeria. This exhibition aims to bridge the gap between headlines and human lives, urging viewers to engage with stories of resilience that unfold within each frame.
