Gunta Anca is a seasoned disability rights activist with extensive experience. Since 2002, she has chaired the Latvian Umbrella Body for Disability Organisations, SUSTENTO. As an active member, she joined the European Disability Forum in 2005 and currently serves as its vice-president. Additionally, she has been a member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) since 2004 till 2020, focusing on advocating for the rights of people with disabilities in social protection, employment, and accessible transport policy. Gunta Anca holds diplomas in social work and business administration and management.
