Camille Jacquot
IHL/IHRL Legal Advisor, Geneva Call
Camille Jacquot holds a master’s degree in international law from La Sorbonne University, followed by a Master of advanced studies at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (ADH), Switzerland.
She joined Geneva Call’s office in South Sudan in October 2023 as a Legal Advisor on IHL/IHRL migration and protection of civilians. She previously gained an extensive experience in United Nations Mission in South Sudan as a Human Rights Officer where for 4 years, she investigated IHL and IHRL, provided subsequent legal analysis, tracked patterns and trends with a special focus on building SGBV strategies (prevention, response, and accountability) and addressing child protection issues. She has also worked on immigration detention issues within different NGOs in France and Australia.
