Catherine-Lune Grayson joined the ICRC in 2016. She leads the organization’s policy team, as well as its climate policy work. She has carried out research on the humanitarian consequences of converging climate risks and armed conflict and co-led the development of the Climate and Environment Charter for Humanitarian Organizations with the IFRC. She has previously focused on the experience of populations displaced by armed conflict and violence. Catherine-Lune has worked in East and Central Africa for several years for the Danish Refugee Council, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She is trained in political science (Sciences Po, Paris) and international law (Université de Montreal), and holds a Ph.D in anthropology (Université de Montreal).
