Charlotte Schneider joined Action contre la Faim France (ACF) in September 2021, as Director of Operations and Programs, responsible for the operational strategy and implementation of ACF's programs in 25 intervention contexts. The Operations department includes 80 people worldwide and 4,000 people in the field, with an annual budget of around 200 million euros. After graduating in political science in Paris and Berlin, Charlotte began her career in the consulting sector. Since 2006 in the humanitarian aid and development sector, Charlotte has worked for ACF, Madera and the World Bank in Afghanistan. She was Country Director for ACF and Coordinator of the INGO Forum in Haiti, then Director of Emergencies and Emergency Preparedness for ACF. She also worked for the City of Paris for 5 years on integration policies for migrants and refugees.
