Dominic is the President of VOICE (Voluntary Organisations In Cooperation in Emergencies), the leading Brussels-based network of 89 humanitarian NGOs from across 19 European countries. VOICE promotes principled humanitarian aid and fosters collective NGO engagement with the European Union. VOICE works on a variety of topics such as the Humanitarian-Development-Peace-Nexus, principled funding for humanitarian crises, the impacts of EU sanctions on humanitarian aid, and on promoting quality partnerships between DG ECHO and NGOs. Dominic has been working in the humanitarian sector for thirty years. He is based in Dublin, where he is the Emergency Director of Concern Wordlwide, an NGO working in twenty six of the poorest and most vulnerable countries in the world.
