Academic background in economics and political science (IEP Paris and College of Europe). Started in Brussels in the European Parliament before joining development aid and working in different countries in Africa (Burundi, Kenya, Mali) for 11 years, covering sectors such as education, health, civil society support, governance. Returned to Brussels in 2019 to work on human rights before joining DG ECHO in 2020. Took up different positions (CAR co-desk, Team Leader, deputy Head of Unit) in the geographic unit covering West and Central Africa in DG ECHO. Married, with 4 children.
