Maryna Slobodnichenko obtained a Master's in Law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2002, a Master of Management from Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics in 2021, and an international MBA from Guglielmo Marconi University in 2020-2021. The deputy minister undertook postgraduate training in international humanitarian law and healthcare legislation in Ukraine and the USA. Professionally, she worked as a lawyer from 2001 to 2018, eventually leading her own firm, Kairos Group. Mrs. Slobodnichenko actively supported Ukrainian healthcare reform and business relocation and contributed to public-private partnerships and transplantation system improvements, leading the Medical Law Committee from 2018 to 2021.
