Séverin Médard Yangou-Bemodo
Fund Manager, UNOCHA
Séverin Médard Yangou-Bemodo is the Fund Manager and Head of Humanitarian Financing Unit with UNOCHA in South Sudan. He joined the South Sudan team from OCHA Cameroun in Far North where he worked on the Lake Chad Basin Crisis. He has 25 years of experience including sixteen years with OCHA working in humanitarian financing and coordination, having also served in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, and the Central African Republic. He has also worked for three years in finance with UNDP, and with the private sector for six years in administration and finance. He is from Central African Republic and holds several master’s level qualifications in Humanitarian Leadership, Management and Business Administration, and Finance.
