Sandrine Lusamba, aged 35 and a young woman activist, feminist and human rights defender, has more than 10 years of professional experience in projects promoting and defending specific rights of women and children, community protection and strengthening the public health system in areas of displacement and return in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She has expertise in gender, inclusion and equality; backup; project management and holistic response to gender-based violence, including reproductive health, child protection and community resilience. She has extensive experience working and managing partnerships with United Nations agencies, international and national organizations, state authorities, local leaders and community organizations; and in the management of project grants funded by United Nations agencies, diplomatic missions, international organizations and foundations.
