Sarah Fuhrman is an attorney and humanitarian practitioner with a wide range of experience. As WFP's Technical Advisor on Principled Humanitarian Access, she provides in-house IHL and humanitarian diplomacy support to the organization. Previously, she was InterAction’s Director of Humanitarian Policy—leading nearly 200 NGOs’ engagement on a variety of issues, including forced displacement, the Grand Bargain, and partnerships—and an adjunct lecturer at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Sarah has also held positions with CARE and USAID/BHA.
