Syed Muqadas, a public health and nutrition advocate, is the Coordinator for Afghanistan's SUN Civil Society Alliance. With a decade of experience, he has collaborated with USAID, GIZ, and UN agencies. His education includes a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery, a Masters in Data Science (in progress), and a PGDM in Business Administration. Muqadas has led healthcare and nutrition initiatives in Afghanistan, focusing on multi-sectoral projects in agriculture, education, and health. He is proficient in monitoring and evaluation, project management, and speaks English, Pashto, Dari, and Urdu. Dedicated to improving child survival and combating malnutrition, especially in crisis situations, he is passionate about sustainable health strategies and data-driven approaches in public health.
