The European Humanitarian Forum 2025 will be held at the Square Brussels Convention Centre.

The entrance to the venue is via the Glass Cube, the main entry to the premises.
ACCESSIBILITY
If you require step-free access, the venue offers a side entrance at the Square Terrace (next to the Glass Cube), accessible from Rue du Mont des Arts. This entrance leads directly to a lift providing access to the Registration Hall and Floor 0. To ensure smooth access and coordination, please inform us in advance at support@europeanhumanitarianforum.eu, so we can provide detailed instructions. Accessible toilets and other facilities are available throughout the venue.

TRANSPORTATION
SQUARE Brussels is ideally located next to Brussels Central Station, the city's main transport hub, offering direct access to trains, metro, buses, and trams. The fast train to Brussels Airport takes under 30 minutes.
Public Transport in Brussels
STIB-MIVB operates all metro, tram, and bus lines in Brussels. You can pay contactless on board—each journey costs €2.10 and includes unlimited transfers within 60 minutes. Daily fares are capped at €7.50. Tickets are also available from red and blue GO vending machines, or at STIB-MIVB outlets (BOOTIK, KIOSK, SHOP). Note: a separate fare applies for bus line 12 from the airport to the city centre.

BIKE AND SCOOTER SHARING
Brussels offers various shared mobility options. You can rent bicycles via services like Villo!, which has two stations within a 2-minute walk from the SQUARE. Electric scooters are also widely available with designated parking spots near the venue.
PARKING
Street parking is limited and paid. The nearest car park is Interparking Albertina/SQUARE (paid), located directly beneath the venue. Please note that direct lift access from this car park to the building will not be available during the event—you’ll need to exit the car park and enter via the Cube entrance from outside.
TAXIS AND RIDE-SHARING
If you require a taxi, several reliable companies operate in Brussels, including to and from Brussels Airport:

WELCOME DESK
Registration will take place in the registration hall at the following times:
- 19 May: from 08:30 to 19:30
- 20 May: from 08:00 to 17:00
You will need to print your badge at the self-service kiosks by scanning the QR code, which will be sent to you a few days before the event. You can present the QR code directly from your phone.
Please also bring a valid identity card or passport. For security reasons, your badge must be worn visibly at all times while inside the venue.
CATERING
Forum participants will be offered coffee breaks and light lunches on 19 and 20 May, served within the event venue.
RECEPTION
A Cocktail Reception will be held on 19 May 2025, from 18:00 to 20:00, in the meeting venue.
EXHIBITION
The Grand Halls will host an exhibition showcasing photos and visual materials from organisations active in humanitarian work. The exhibition is accessible throughout both days of the Forum. A full list of exhibitors is published here: https://europeanhumanitarianforum.eu/en/exhibitors.
SECURITY CHECK, LUGGAGE AND CLOAKROOM
All participants will go through a security screening at the venue entrance, including bag checks and X-ray scanning of all carry-ons. To help avoid delays, we kindly ask you to bring only essential items. Large suitcases will not be permitted—maximum allowed bag dimensions are 60 cm (width) x 42 cm (height) x 25 cm (depth).
A staffed cloakroom will be available throughout the event during venue opening hours. Please ensure your personal belongings are not left unattended at any time, as unattended items may be removed.
If you need to store larger luggage, a City Locker facility is available just four minutes from the venue at Brussels Central Station and can be booked in advance: City Locker – BRUSSELS CENTRAL.
RECORDING AND PHOTOS
Photographers and videographers will be present throughout the event for communication purposes. If you indicated during registration that you do not wish to appear in photos or video footage, please remind the team at the welcome desk when you arrive. You will be given a coloured lanyard, which you must wear visibly at all times to help our media team identify you.
To further respect your preference, we kindly ask you to sit in the back rows of session rooms, as audience shots are primarily taken from the front.

INTERPRETATION
Interpretation in English and French will be provided for sessions taking place in the Gold Hall, Copper Hall, and The Arc. Headsets will be available at the entrance to each room—please return them after use. As headsets are limited, we recommend arriving early if you require interpretation. Please note that interpretation languages may vary by session and are subject to change.
SOCIAL MEDIA
If you’d like to share your participation or impressions on social media, feel free to use the official hashtag #EHF2025 and help us amplify the discussions.
SLIDO
Slido will be used in many sessions to enable audience interaction. You can take part using your laptop or mobile device. A QR code for easy access will be displayed in each room where Slido is used.
LIVESTREAMING AND RECORDINGS
All sessions—except for workshops—will be livestreamed. Recordings of these sessions will also be made available after the event as video-on-demand content.
